{"id":2736,"date":"2019-07-31T10:46:46","date_gmt":"2019-07-31T07:46:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ruzgarenerjisi.com.tr\/en\/?p=2736"},"modified":"2026-09-14T22:06:30","modified_gmt":"2026-09-14T19:06:30","slug":"goldwind-to-power-australian-recycling-plant-and-gold-mine","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ruzgarenerjisi.com.tr\/en\/goldwind-to-power-australian-recycling-plant-and-gold-mine\/","title":{"rendered":"Goldwind to power Australian recycling plant and gold mine"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Goldwind has agreed to supply Australia&#8217;s largest plastic recycling plant with power from one of its wind farms.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Its 321MW\u00a0Moorabool\u00a0wind farm in Victoria will power Advanced Circular Polymers\u2019 (ACP\u2019s) recycling facility, which opened at the end of June.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Large quantities of low-value contaminated mixed plastics from households will be processed at the plant in Somerton, central Victoria, ACP stated.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Construction started at Moorabool in July 2018. It will consist of 107 Goldwind 136\/3000 turbines.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Delivery and installation of the turbines are ongoing.\u00a0The project is expected to start providing ACP with power in early 2020.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A Goldwind spokeswoman told\u00a0<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Windpower Monthly<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0that the power purchase agreement was not for the full output of the wind farm, but would not specify the precise volume.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><b>Goldwind strikes gold<\/b><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Goldwind has also signed an agreement to build and operate an 18MW wind project in Western Australia that form part of a hybrid microgrid project power the Agnew gold mind.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It will build the five-turbine project in the northern goldfields region of Western Australia as part of a joint venture with Australian engineering firm Nacap.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The project will consist of five of Goldwind\u2019s GW140\/3.57MW turbines and to help power Energy Developments\u2019 Agnew mine.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The microgrid site also comprises 4MW of solar,\u00a0a 13MW\/4MWh battery and a 16MW gas engine power station.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Goldwind will also maintain the site during its operational phase.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Goldwind has agreed to supply Australia&#8217;s largest plastic recycling plant with power from one of its wind farms.
