Cookie Policy

This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies used on ruzgarenerjisi.com.tr, why we use them and how you can manage your choices. General information on personal data is in our Privacy Policy and Data Protection Notice. The Turkish version prevails in case of discrepancy.

2. What is a cookie?
Cookies are small text files stored in your browser when you visit a website. They make the site work, remember your preferences and measure usage. This policy also covers similar technologies such as browser storage.
3. Cookie types and consent
- Essential cookies: needed for language selection, the company panel session, security and remembering your cookie choice. No consent required.
- Analytics cookies: measure which content is read and where visitors come from. They run only with your explicit consent.
- Marketing cookies: for ad and campaign measurement and social media pixels. None are currently used. If this changes, we will update this policy and ask for your consent again.
On your first visit you can choose “Accept all”, “Reject all” or “Manage preferences”, presented equally. Non-essential cookies do not run until you consent. Continuing to use the site does not count as consent.

5. Legal bases
Essential cookies rely on KVKK Art. 5/2 (c), (ç) and (f); analytics and marketing cookies rely on your explicit consent under Art. 5/1.
6. Third parties and transfers abroad
- If you allow analytics, Google Analytics processes visit statistics on servers outside Türkiye. GA4 does not store IP addresses; ad personalisation and Google signals are disabled. The transfer relies on the safeguards under KVKK Art. 9.
- YouTube videos and the interactive wind farm map are not loaded until you click. When you do, YouTube (youtube-nocookie.com) or OpenStreetMap serve the content under their own policies.
- Links to social media and other Moneta magazines are plain links; no data is sent to them unless you click.
7. Consent records and retention
Each consent or withdrawal is logged as proof: a random consent ID, date and time, policy version, your choices and a truncated, irreversible hash of your IP address. No name or email is recorded. Consent records are kept for 3 years. Your choice is valid for 6 months and is asked again when it expires or when the policy changes significantly. You can see your consent ID in the “Cookie settings” window and quote it in requests.
8. Changing your choice
- Use the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page at any time.
- When you withdraw consent, the related cookies are deleted and measurement stops.
- You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings.

10. Changes
We update this policy when cookies change. For significant changes we increase the version number and ask all visitors for consent again.
