A New Era Begins for Windfor and Vector Cuatro
In September 2018, Vector Cuatro Group, a global leader in Asset Management, Technical Advisory and M&A and financial advisory in renewable energy, acquired Windfor to benefit from an extraordinary synergy in PV and Wind sector. This acquisition allows Vector Cuatro to develop, grow and strengthen its service capabilities for wind projects, while Windfor takes advantage of Vector Cuatro Group’s worldwide presence and recognized expertise on renewable energy sector.
“We’re excited about this agreement”, said Vector Cuatro’s CEO Javier Asensio. “Windfor will bring significant know-how in the wind power industry, at a time when new plants are expected to be built for over 50 GW every year until 2040, according to the International Energy Agency. On top of new plants, great opportunities will result from repowering old plants or lengthening the lifetime of existing ones”.
