Founded in 1980 in Tarsus, Mersin, BERDAN CIVATA manufactures high-strength fastening systems for wind turbine foundations, towers and blades. Its fully integrated industrial facility includes 60,000 m² of enclosed production space and supports both standard and project-specific requirements.
The company reports more than 50,000 tonnes of fastening systems supplied for use in over 5,000 wind turbines, including foundation anchor cages, tower connection bolts, blade studs and other safety-critical components.
PREVENTIVE QUALITY PLANNING
Wind turbine fasteners operate under demanding mechanical loads throughout their service life. Material traceability, controlled processes, risk management and robust documentation are therefore essential to structural integrity and reliable operation.
BERDAN CIVATA combines manufacturing, heat treatment, a patented hot-dip galvanizing process designed to prevent hydrogen embrittlement, and testing within the best equipped test laboratory in Türkiye and Europe with the largest scope and capacity.

The company’s in-house laboratory is accredited by TÜRKAK in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025. Combined with integrated production, heat treatment and galvanizing capabilities, the laboratory supports verified testing, documented quality assurance and faster technical feedback throughout production.
APQP4Wind-trained specialists further strengthen early risk identification, project documentation and communication with international customers. The training certificates are individual qualifications awarded to participating employees.
