Beta Enerji’s Energy and Technology Campus in Adana, Türkiye, built with an investment of around $130 million, has reached the completion stage. As of 30 June 2026, 84 percent of construction and 74 percent of the overall investment had been completed, with production units being commissioned in stages.
Spread over an area of around 115,000 square metres in the Adana Hacı Sabancı Organised Industrial Zone, the campus will bring together capabilities ranging from transformers to high-voltage switching products and from R&D to advanced testing infrastructure under one roof. Once the investment is complete, Beta Enerji aims to expand not only its production capacity but also its product range, engineering capabilities and R&D infrastructure.
Power transformers up to 1,000 MVA and 1,000 kV
The campus has been designed as an integrated production base combining production infrastructure for distribution and power transformers, high-voltage switching products and concrete kiosks with R&D, engineering, testing, quality and after-sales services.
With the campus, production capacity for distribution and power transformers is being increased, while new investments in high-voltage switching products are expanding the product portfolio. The high-voltage switching and concrete kiosk departments started production in March 2025, and the relocation of distribution transformer lines to the new facility has largely been completed. With the new infrastructure in the power transformers department, Beta Enerji will be able to produce power transformers up to 1,000 MVA and 1,000 kV.

“We are entering a new era in our journey of nearly half a century”
Yusuf Cenk Dağsuyu, Board Member and Chairman of the Executive Board of Beta Enerji, noted that the growth in renewable energy investments worldwide, the modernisation of power grids, accelerating electrification and the spread of new consumption areas such as data centres are increasing the strategic importance of energy infrastructure investments globally. “With our new campus, which is nearing completion, we are strengthening our infrastructure for developing and manufacturing in Türkiye the high value-added energy equipment this transformation requires,” said Dağsuyu.
Noting that the company currently delivers its products to more than 80 countries on six continents, Dağsuyu added: “With the production and technology capacity of our new campus, we aim to reach more than 100 countries in the short term and more than 130 countries within five years. But for us, the value of this investment is not just about producing more or reaching more countries. Our goal is to deliver higher value-added energy technologies from Adana to the world.”

Production and R&D in the same ecosystem
With an R&D team of more than 100 people, Beta Enerji has completed 95 projects to date and continues work on 52 projects. At the new campus, production and R&D processes are intended to feed into each other within the same ecosystem, bringing work in areas such as energy efficiency, artificial intelligence, advanced materials and digitalisation directly together with production experience.
Once the campus is operating at full capacity, Beta Enerji plans to increase its total workforce to around 1,200 people. The company aims to raise the solar capacity at the campus to 8 MW and continues its work to reduce the environmental impact of its production processes in line with its long-term carbon neutral roadmap.
