Nordex Group has announced a new onshore wind turbine order in Germany. According to the company, TEUT Energieprojekte GmbH has ordered 13 N163/6.X turbines with a combined capacity of 91 MW for the Schönermark-Passow wind farm.

The project will be developed near Schwedt/Oder in the Uckermark district of Brandenburg. The turbines will be installed with a hub height of 164 metres. The contract covers the supply and installation of the turbines as well as a 20-year Premium Service agreement.

13 N163/6.X turbines to be installed

The Schönermark-Passow wind farm will use 13 N163/6.X turbines from Nordex’s Delta4000 platform.

According to the announced project schedule, construction activities as well as turbine delivery and installation are expected to begin in September 2027. Commissioning of the first wind turbine is planned for January 2028.

The project is being implemented jointly by TEUT Energieprojekte and Austrian utility Salzburg AG.

TEUT and Nordex continue long-term cooperation

The new order continues the cooperation between TEUT Energieprojekte and Nordex Group across several wind energy projects in Brandenburg.

In 2025, TEUT Energieprojekte ordered Nordex turbines for the Mürow-Neukünkendorf and Willmersdorf-Tempelfelde wind farms, with a combined capacity of 65.7 MW across 11 turbines.

According to Nordex’s latest announcement, commissioning of the two projects is planned for spring and summer 2027 respectively.

TEUT Energieprojekte Managing Director Jan Teut stated that Schönermark-Passow will be the company’s tenth project with Nordex. In total, TEUT has purchased 39 Nordex turbines representing an installed capacity of 252 MW.

20-year service agreement included

One of the key elements of the contract is the 20-year Premium Service agreement.

Long-term service contracts typically cover scheduled maintenance, technical support and operational services intended to support turbine availability throughout the operating period.

Karsten Brüggemann, Vice President Region Europe at Nordex Group, said the Schönermark-Passow project represents a further stage in the cooperation with TEUT Energieprojekte and reflects the customer’s continued use of the N163/6.X platform and Nordex’s long-term service offering.

Nordex has commissioned more than 64 GW worldwide

According to company figures, Nordex Group has commissioned more than 64 GW of wind power capacity across more than 40 markets since 1985.

The company reported consolidated sales of approximately EUR 7.6 billion in 2025 and currently employs more than 11,100 people.

Nordex operates manufacturing facilities in Germany, Spain, Brazil, India and the United States. Its product portfolio focuses primarily on onshore wind turbines in the 4 MW to 7 MW+ classes.

With the Schönermark-Passow order, a further 91 MW of planned wind power capacity will be added to Nordex’s project portfolio in Brandenburg, while its long-term cooperation with TEUT Energieprojekte will continue with another large-scale project.
