Türkiye’s Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources has approved the zoning plans for three storage-backed wind power plant (RES) projects planned in the Divriği district of Sivas and the Şarköy district of Tekirdağ, and has put them on public display. The Ministry also published a parcelling plan notice for the 80.4 MW Süloğlu wind project in Edirne.
Divriği storage-backed wind project
According to a Ministry notice dated 30 September 2026, the 1/5,000-scale master zoning plan and the 1/1,000-scale implementation zoning plan for the Divriği storage-backed wind project, planned within the boundaries of Mursal and Kevendüzü villages, were approved by a ministerial decision dated 23 September 2026. The approval was granted under the regulation on zoning and permitting for wind- and solar-based power plants, published in the Official Gazette on 24 July 2026. The plans will remain on public display for 15 days from 30 September.
Merge 4 and Merge 5 in Şarköy
On 23 September 2026 the Ministry also put on display the plans for two projects in Şarköy, Tekirdağ. The master and implementation zoning plans for the Merge 4 storage-backed wind project in Uçmakdere and the Merge 5 storage-backed wind project in Gaziköy were approved by ministerial decisions dated 11 September 2026. A 15-day display period for both began on 23 September.
The notices do not state the projects’ installed capacity, storage capacity or developers. The plans can be viewed in the “Zoning Plans on Display” section of the Ministry’s website, on the notice board at the Ministry’s main building and on the e-plan.gov.tr system.
Parcelling plan for Süloğlu RES
A separate Ministry notice dated 24 September 2026 concerns the 1/1,000-scale parcelling plan for the Süloğlu wind project, with a capacity of 80.4 MWm/MWe, located within the boundaries of Küçünlü and Hacılar villages in the Lalapaşa district of Edirne. The notice includes the display record, the parcelling plan and the distribution schedule for land registration.
